Jasper was wonderful today, I was awoken with presents including my new purple ipod shuffle!! And you know how much I love purple!

I was then taken to Starbucks to get a nice warm almond latte and a pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant apparently!). We sat in the park and ate breakfast, then Jasper dropped me home and went off to work. I spent the morning chatting to Wendy and my mum and then at noon Jasper came home to surprise me and take me out to lunch, as I was getting ready to go out, there was a knock at the door. It was a flower delivery, 2 dozen mini gerberas!! Amazing!! Jasper put them in water for me whilst I finished getting ready. Then it was off to Il Fornaio in Palo Alto for lunch. We had a lovely meal and then wandered down the main street in Palo Alto, popped in to the Apple store (surprise) and then decided to go for a drive. We drove through the mountains near us and along Skyline Drive, which had amazing views. Apparently there was another earthquake of 3.8 magnitude as we were driving but luckily we didn’t feel it. After our drive, we came back home and snuggled on the sofa and watched a film. All in all a perfect day! Thanks Brian for letting Jasper have the afternoon off, it made my day!
