Ok, so I have finally finished my Philosophy assignment, submitted it yesterday afternoon but am not expecting to get a very good mark. I didn’t have a bloody clue to be honest! Oh well, lets hope I do better on my Social Science one, due in on 15th. I am starting it tomorrow because I want to get it done early. James is arriving on Thursday, so I don’t really want to be writing an assignment when he is here, might be a bit rude “you’ll have to amuse yourself mate, I am too busy writing bullshit about the relationship between knowledge and social change”, wouldn’t exactly make me hostess of the year would it! Speaking of which housewife of the year contender (me) has been on a mission this week, the apartment is looking fabulous, if I do say so myself! I have taken some pics for you all to see the place we are living in out here.

So there you go, proof that I am a proper little housewife, keeping it clean and tidy. You’ll be pleased to know that as well as cleaning and tidying, studying, working for Verity and cooking amazing food I have also had time to do some exercise to help towards my mission of becoming fit. I have been doing sit ups (with feet under the sofa) and doing at least 500 steps a day on the stepper (evidence in first photo ;) ). Trust me, I know 500 steps doesn’t sound like a lot, but it’s actually quite tough on the highest setting. Anyway, next job is to go to Fry’s to buy some scales so I can tell if it is doing any good. The chocolate mum sent to us this week might not help my mission though (thanks mummy, love you :) ).

Fry’s, by the way, is an electrical store, similar to Curry’s I suppose but much weirder!!! Each Fry’s store is themed (only the Americans hey!), our nearest store has an ancient Egyptian theme, all the walls are painted with hieroglyphics and it is just like walking in to a pyramid, we thought it was hilarious when we first went there, but figured it must just be a one off. Maybe the store was like it already so when they moved in they thought it would be a laugh to keep it up. But no!! We then went to another Fry’s, as our local store didn’t have the monitor we wanted in stock, and it was themed too! This time ancient Greek, we think, although we are not 100% sure, lots of big white pillars all over the place, much more subtle than the pyramid idea, but still a bit random!!

Anyway, that’s enough rambling from me for now, take care guys.

Love ya
