I am 29 years old, I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am married to Jasper, a fabulous Software Architect.

I am studying for a Psychology degree part-time and spend the rest of my time interior designing, landscape designing, cooking, baking, sewing and creating pottery.

I have moved around a fair bit since I turned 18, I grew up in Hampshire, UK and have lived in London, Bournemouth and Bath as well as living in the Bay Area twice.

My husband and I purchased our first home in Bath, UK in 2008 and spent 18 months completely renovating it, something we both loved. We sold it on in May 2010 and made the decision to return to California.

We purchased our second home in San Jose, California in March 2011 and have so far re-painted the interior, replaced all taps, light fixtures etc, replaced the windows, re-stuccoed (render to UK folk) the exterior and repainted the doors and trim. Our current project is the backyard. We were lucky that the front had already been nicely landscaped by the previous owners.

The backyard project is a big one. We are removing a small concrete patio and replacing with a large L-shaped one to fill in the area surrounding the footprint of the house. We are adding veg planters, new lawn, a bark chip area (for future kids play area/hammocks), new plants and furniture.
